Aluminum Alloy Outward Top-Hung Window

The outward top-hung aluminum alloy window uses a custom-extruded profile and a top-pivot hinge system that opens the bottom edge of the sash outward and upward, creating a narrow ventilation slot at the base of the window that admits fresh air while deflecting rainfall away from the interior.

A specialist hydraulic hinge assembly controls opening force and allows the sash to be held securely at any angle, from a minimal tilt for gentle ventilation to a wider angle for maximum airflow. The heavy-gauge aluminum frame and tempered glazing provide strong wind-pressure and impact resistance, and a multi-point locking system ensures positive, rattle-free closure.

The rain deflection geometry of the opening makes this window particularly effective in wet climates where conventional outward casements can admit driving rain. The sash geometry also prevents unauthorized entry through the narrow ventilation gap, making it a useful choice for ground-floor and lower-floor installations where security is a consideration alongside ventilation.
